New cabinets cost a lot. If the boxes are sound, you do not need to tear the kitchen out to change how it looks. Refinishing the cabinets you already have is the smaller project that still changes the room. We refinish kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and built-ins for homes in Jefferson City, Holts Summit, and Columbia.
We use the Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series — a cabinet coating, not wall paint. It is made for doors and drawers that get opened every day. We apply it with a controlled spray so the finish lays down smooth.
Doors and drawer fronts come off and get labeled. Hardware is removed and bagged. Boxes and frames stay in place and get masked. We degrease, repair what needs repair, sand, prime, and apply multiple spray coats. Then we reinstall everything square and clean.
Mid-Missouri humidity and daily wear are hard on a kitchen finish. Gallery Series is built for water, cleaning products, and constant handling in a way wall paint is not.
